    Ottawa doc offers free counselling to Haitians

  • Ottawa's Haitian community has contacts with a psychologist and social worker for those who may need counselling.
    Call 613 744-0876 for a referral.
  • University of Ottawa- The Students' Federation is offering a free hotline (when communication access is restored) for those students trying to reach family and friends. To learn more about this and other relief initiatives organized by the SFUO contact Gwen Madiba at volunteer@sfuo.ca or 613-562-5800 ext. 3070

    Counselling Services are available to those affected by the disaster. They can be reached by phone at 613-562-5200, by email couns@uOttawa.ca or in person at 100 Marie-Curie (4th Floor).
